Friends, I’m thrilled to finally share that my new history-meets-art project, Before Santa Was Jolly: Thomas Nast and the Making of Santa Claus, is officially launching!

This book has been a massive undertaking — of researching, designing, restoring 1800s engravings, and turning the story of America’s early Santa into a fully illustrated, historical coloring book for all ages.
